Dr. Vishesh Jalan

Dr vj

Dr. V. Jalan received his veterinary training in India in 1995 and worked there for several years. Although he had family and friends in India, he realized that Canada offered him and his family more opportunities. It was a big move and a huge decision, but one that Dr. V Jalan and his wife, Dr. Vipan are happy that they pursued.

Once settled in BC, Dr. VJ learned that there were more exams he would need to pass in order to meet the required qualifications set out by the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC). As a fast learner, Dr. VJ saw this as a wonderful opportunity to further his skill set and approached this new challenge with vigour. In 2006 Dr. VJ was awarded his BC veterinary license, what an accomplishment! His many years of training, both in Canada and abroad finally paid off.

However, he wasn't satisfied. He felt that there was still more to be learned. So Dr. VJ set off to Alberta in order to further enhance his skill set. Dr. VJ and Dr. Vipan spent one year there tending to the needs of a variety of animals; horses, cows, dogs, cats, pigs, guinea pigs; you name the animal, Dr. VJ and his wife have probably cared for it.

Home was beckoning, so the Dr.'s came back to the Fraser Valley. In 2008 Dr. VJ and Dr. Vipan assumed ownership of the Clearbrook Animal Hospital and he now looks forward to providing the residents of the Fraser Valley with the best veterinary care possible.

Dr. Vipan Jalan

Dr Vipan

Dr. Vipan graduated from Veterinary School in India in 1998. A voracious learner, Dr. Vipan then decided to spend two more years at school learning all about pharmacology. She received her master’s degree in 2000. The driving force in Dr. Vipan's professional career was the desire to practice veterinary surgery at the highest possible level, and she felt that her two degrees would assist in achieving her goal.

As busy as she was, and continues to be, she always makes time for her husband, Dr. VJ, they’re two children and her best friend, the family’s Chihuahua.
